一、重復簡歷型

問題：留學個人陳述不要去重復簡歷中的東西，這在很多學校的PS要求中明確提到，個人陳述的寫作要具體到事件上，事件解決
上，而不要單純重復已有的內容，過多的重復不會讓招生官對你的簡歷或者信息更加印象深刻，只會讓招生官覺得你沒有好好閱讀招生
簡章的要求。
二、學校介紹型
I am an undergraduate in…University, the largest university and a cradle of scientific and technological talents in China.
問題：這位同學的個人陳述開頭等于是一個申請學校的簡介，這好像是在幫助學校做宣傳，或表達你有多了解該學校，對此小編想
要說的是，不要在留學文書中用過多的詞去描述沒有意義或者不重要的事情。各個學校對留學文書的字數本身就有要求，所以我們要在
有限的篇幅中盡量把我們的閃光點更好更準確的表達出來，不浪費每一個字符。這是沒有意義的開頭，白白浪費了字數，最容易被秒據
掉。
三、抄襲句式型
As a student majoring in Computer Science, Ibegan my odyssey since I entered undergraduate program. Indeed, having entered

問題：Odyssey 和more than greedy for something new 這種句式不知道是從哪里學到的，很多同學在用。但你要知道，外國人最
恨抄襲，最喜原創，寧愿寫自己知道的平凡的單詞句型，也不要去抄襲一些比較大的單詞句型。留學文書不是過度追求辭藻華麗，靠自
己的原創，只要能清楚的表達出自己的意思，也是有很大的機會被錄取的。一切都要真實。
四、救世主型
I am a problem solver. I have an impulse as akind of instincts to solve various problems before me and enjoy doing that. Since I
was a little boy, a voice from President Franklin Roosevelt has constantlyhovered around my mind, "The world can be changed by
man'sendeavor...
問題：一副救世主的形象，小時候就受富蘭克林的影響，立志改變世界。個人陳述的寫作一定要個人化具體化，別吹大牛，不要寫
一些虛無縹緲的東西。中國人思想里寫文章之前一定要用很大的詞渲染一番的做法不適用于送到國外招生官面前的留學文書的書寫中，
甚至還會給你的留學文書大打折扣。
五、猶抱琵琶型
Making a right decision at the right time is very important for a young people .At present, I have come to a critical point in my life
when I have to make a decision concerning my future course of action.Only a perceptive understanding of oneself will enable one to
chart his proper action. After carefully thinking, reviewing my life and analyzing my personality, I make the determination and choose
to apply for graduate study in XXX. And I choose to specialize in communications which I will pursue a lifelong career.
問題：重點放在自己要做重大決定上了，人生的轉折點，然后來上句所謂名言警句。浪費字數，有限的字數里，同學們應該學會直
接，面試官每天都要看幾百甚至上千的留學申請，所以留學文書一定要抓住重點，直截了當的指出自己最有優勢的方面，最有特色的
面，過多沒有意義的描寫措辭一定要避免，中國人的含蓄謙虛思想在此處也沒有什么幫助。
六、言幼稚型
'Why the gecko can climb on the wall while we can't-' 'Why the leaves turn red in autumn' 'How many stars are there in the
sky- 'When I was in childhood, I always kept asking my mom all kinds of questions. I am especially interested in how things work, I
can even take apart things for several hours in order to find out its principle.
問題：上來就回憶童年少年自己如何有著遠大抱負，who cares。個人陳述字數有限，卻用這么多話描述童年，沒有任何意義。在
寫個人陳述時，建議以時間為線索，把自己從小到大所有做過的有價值的事情羅列出來，挑選有代表性或者重點的事情進行描述，不要
寫一些無所謂的幼稚的時間太過久遠的事情來寫，重點盡量放在最近一兩年之內。
